The 59th Biennale will be directed by an Italian for the first time. Cecilia Alemani intends to give a voice to artists who create unique projects as they see our society. And of course the coveted Golden Lions will again be awarded in the film category in late summer. The Film Biennale will take place from August 31 to September 10, 2022.
