S.Jorio 2015 Bike Day

It is possible to choose between two routes:
Hard Track 27 Km
The first section is on the paved road, with only few difficult climbs and large twists and turns through the chestnut forest on the old route that long ago linked the villages of the valley. The last 10 km are on a dirt road, from the forest to the "Rifugio Giovo", from there on the old military path that leads steeply up to the "Rifugio S. Jorio"

Easy Track 12 km long  
Starts halfway down the Hard Trak in "Localit & agrave; Bocchetta Germasino".

The event takes place in all weather conditions the event is open to all bikers and amateurs.

From the Rifugio S. Jorio it is a few minutes' walk. possible to reach the border between Italy and Switzerland, with the little church in honor of S. Jorio and above all because of the beautiful 360 ° All-round view of the upper Lake Como area "Alto Lario", "Valtellina", "Legnone and Legnoncino" on the Italian side and Lugano, Locarno, Lake Maggiore and Aletschhorn on the Swiss side.
