Pastificio Moro, the Pizzocheri pasta factory  

The company was founded in 1868 by Carlo Moro A mill with a pasta factory was built in the center of Chiavenna along the Mera river. Today the old mill is a museum of industrial architecture & ldquo; Mulino di Bottonera & ldquo ;.

The Moro pasta factory still produces, but at the new location at the entrance to Chiavenna:   150 years of quality, guaranteed from father to son is, now in the sixth generation.

The pasta factory's specialties are the Fidelin and the Pizzoccheri from Valtellina , made with the best buckwheat flour according to local tradition.
