Lake Como bathing GOOD

The water quality of Lake Como has improved considerably again. Of the 42 locations at which the water samples were tested, 25 locations comply with the hygiene regulations of the European Union.
The local authority responsible for this is the & ldquo; Azienda Sanitaria Locale di Como & ldquo; Testing locations on Lake Como. The analysis essentially includes checking the pH value of the water, transparency of the water, water temperature and air temperature, oxygen content of the water and trace elements- tests of various chemicals and organic substances, and much more.

The Alto Lario , as the locals call the northern part of Lake Como, almost 100% meets the requirements of bathing water quality on river banks and beaches. t.
In contrast, the southern arm of the lake towards Como is only about 60%.

The Lake Lugano and also the part belonging to Italy at Porlezza and Campione d & rsquo; Italia meets all water quality requirements for bathing water.
