Festival Musica sull'Acqua 2018

Every year Colico hosts the Musica sull & rsquo; Acqua festival, an international festival for chamber music.

The festival, founded in 2005, was designed to attract young people and the local population To give the opportunity to get closer to the "extraordinary" world of music.

Established names of the international concert gather in Colico in July to share their artistic and human experiences and create a series of unusual get-togethers where the public and artists become creators of a unique event.

The heart of the festival is the monastery of the abbey von Piona, a wonderful example of Romanesque architecture that, along with other historical complexes on the shores of Lake Como, hosts the festival evenings and magically connects some of the most beautiful chamber music sites.
