Traditional Palio del Baradello festival from the end of August to mid-September, where traditionally the history of the city of Como in Barbarossa's time is presented. You can feel as though you have been transported back to the Middle Ages in the faithful replica of a medieval warehouse, extras in historical costumes recreate the life of that time.

Sunday September 12th: CERNOBBIO Villa Erba, 10.30 a.m. historical knight tournament competition with rider and horses.
At 2:30 p.m. in the gardens at the historical parade with music and flag throwing towards Villa Erba, followed by an archery competition.
