Castagnata Peglio

In autumn, the   Castagnata   is celebrated in many places on Lake Como, including Peglio, a typical small village above Gravedona, from where you also have a fantastic view over the Lake Como. & Nbsp;

This is where the   Katanienfest   takes place on Sunday October 14th, 2018. Festive service at 10 a.m. in the church of S.Eusebio

The actual Castagniata begins at 2 p.m.

If the weather doesn't cooperate, the Castagnata will be postponed for a week/>
In addition to freshly roasted chestnuts, you can try all sorts of local specialties there.  
As at a typical festival, visitors can also expect dance and folklore.
