Castagnata Peglio

In autumn the Castagnata is celebrated in many places on Lake Como, including in Peglio, a typical small village above Gravedona, from where you also have a wonderful view of Lake Como to have.

The Katanienfest will take place there on Sunday, October 10th, 2010. At 10 am there is a festive service in the church of S.Eusebio

The actual Castagniata begins at 2 pm.

In addition to freshly roasted chestnuts, you can try all kinds of local specialties there .
The visitors can also expect dance and folklore, just like at a typical festival.
