Castagnata Peglio 2013

In autumn, the   Castagnata   is celebrated in many places on Lake Como, including Peglio, a typical small village above Gravedona, from where you also have a fantastic view over the Lake Como. & Nbsp;

The   Katanienfest   will take place there on Sunday, October 20th, 2013. Festive service at 10 a.m. in the church of S.Eusebio

The actual Castagniata begins at 2 p.m.

If the weather does not cooperate, the Castagnata will be postponed by a week. We recommend that you consult the Pro Loco di Peglio   website.

In addition to freshly roasted chestnuts, you can try all sorts of local specialties there.  
As at a typical festival, visitors can also expect dance and folklore.
