Employees in Germany have an average of 27 vacation days per year . However, if you plan carefully and use public holidays, you can properly extend your annual vacation. We show you how to use the bridge days in 2020 cleverly in order to have a maximum of free days.

In 2020, the holidays are sometimes very unfavorable and are swallowed up by non-working weekends. But there are still a few ways to get a whole short vacation out of a weekend.
Particularly interesting is the bridge   from K arfritag   April 10th   + Easter   April 12th/13th. Sunday Monday. With eight vacation days submitted, you get 16 days off in a row.

And the bridge from Labor Day May 1st + Liberation Day   on May 8th,   with   8 vacation days   you have 16 days off.


EASTER:   Take 8 days vacation=16 days off.
MAIBR & Uuml; CKE:   (Labor Day): Take 4 days vacation=9 days off.
CHRIST'S ASCENSION:   Take 4 days vacation  =9 days off.
PENTECOST:   Take 4 days of vacation  =9 days off.
UNITY BRIDGE:   (Day of German Unity   3 October): 4 days vacation=9 days off.
CHRISTMAS:   8 days vacation   take=16 days off.
