Birdwatching Festival

The Pian di Spagna nature reserve is an approximately 1600 hectare plain between the northern tip of Lake Como and Lake Mezzola and is located in the middle of the train corridor of the Spluga Valley, which is one of the shortest routes for the Crossing the Alps. Important migratory routes intersect here and bird species bound to wetlands spend the winter in this place.
