Rifugio Palu shelter

The Rifugio Palu refuge is located at 1965 meters above sea level on a special panoramic position on the north side of the lake of the same name in Chiesa in Valmalenco, it is easy to reach via the hiking trail from Rifugio Barchi (1750m), or you can take the cable car in Chiesa Valmalenco, which takes you to 2000m and then comfortably hikes to the shelter located a little lower down.
Everything that hikers and day-trippers appreciate about a refreshment stop can be found in the Rifugio Palù.The Rifugio Palù refuge on the Alp Palù offers cozy, heated rooms (total 46 beds) with bathroom and all the comforts such as a bar, restaurant with traditional regional cuisine with delicious Food and delicious desserts based on grandmother's recipes!
With an inviting atmosphere, it is ideal for excursions of all kinds, for relaxation and enjoyment. The lake in front of the refuge also invites you to relax and sunbathe in all seasons.
The Rifugio Palù refuge is open from June to October and on weekends in winter. It is located very close to Europe's highest cable car, the “Snow Eagle”.
In summer and winter, the Rifugio Palù refuge is an oasis for all kinds of refreshments and good food in a mountain paradise where you can simply relax completely!
