Sagra della Mela e dell'Uva in Villa di Tirano

Villa di Tirano a rural village in the immediate vicinity of the small town of Tirano in the upper part of the Valtellina valley is not only known for its very sunny vineyards and the good Veltliner wine but also because of the traditional grape and apple festival, which takes place every year in October.

The Festival of Apples and Grapes & ldquo; Sagra della Mela e dell'Uva & ldquo; is one of the most important gastronomic events in the province of Sondrio, which has gained increasing popularity over the years.
Traditionally, the festival is celebrated with the competition & ldquo; The best apple of Valtellinas & ldquo; carried out with the award of the best apple of the year.

The event takes place along the village street with stalls and small exhibitions of traditional handicrafts, also inside the Ninatti House in the beautiful historic center of the typical Valtellinese village and of course there is also music and culture.
