Mostra del Bitto in Morbegno Valtellina

During the exhibition "Mostra del Bitto" one has the opportunity to get an overview of the local producers of cheese and typical Valtellinian products.

The exhibition "Mostra del Bitto" has been taking place in Morbegno since 1907 . The reason for this exhibition was and still is the award of the best Bitto cheese of the year.

Since then, the exhibition has taken place every year in October. At this festival-like exhibition, in addition to the Bitto cheese, tastings, music and culture are offered Sell and buy local delicacies such as bresaola, pizzoccheri, sausage products, cheese and local wines and sweets made from honey and apples and much more, sometimes at special exhibition prices ..

Traditionally, the exhibition takes place on the second weekend in October and attracts people from the various provinces of Lombardy and the Swiss canton of Graubünden.
