Piano school: International Piano Academy in Dongo
In 2002 it became clear that Theo Lieven (founder of the computer trading company VOBIS) could no longer be available to the foundation. Together with his old friend Martha Argerich (pianist born in Buenos Aires in 1941), Wiliam Grant Nabore , who was unwilling to give up this crown jewel of musical culture, managed to ensure the refinancing and restructuring of the institution.

Within weeks, the Music School "International Piano Academy Lake Como" was founded in Dongo, whose Honorary President is Mrs. Argerich today.

William Grant Naboré has demonstrated an extraordinary devotion to teaching and developing young pianistic talents- regardless of their financial resources and background- and it is primarily thanks to such people that young artists today can hope to reach their full potential and one to be introduced to a wide audience.

The Como project, Laurent Boullet
Laurent Boullet has been professor at the very prestigious “International Piano Academy Lake Como” since September 2003, where he is also head of the newly established “Piano Technique & Physiology” department. To the best of my knowledge, it is still one of the most unique projects that a leading private music institution has ever launched. As the head of this department, it is a special honor for me to be able to design this program.
