Museo Moto Guzzi / Moto Guzzi factory museum

Mandello del Lario (between Varenna and Lecco) is the headquarters of Moto Guzzi-Werke , which has been producing its legendary motorcycles here since 1921 .
For motorcycle enthusiasts, we recommend a detour to the Moto Guzzi Factory Museum in Mandello del Lario in Via Parodi 57-61, right behind the train station.
From almost 80 years of factory history, fans will find over 100 series models here, as well as racing motorcycles, which until 1957, the last racing year of the Guzzi, after 3300 victories.
There are many prototypes of motorcycles and engines of the so-called "red" , as Moto-Guzzi are also called, to be admired in the museum.




TIP:
Every year the largest MOTO GUZZI meeting in the world takes place in Mandello del Lario in mid-September. The exact date and further details can be found at   International Moto Guzzi Meeting .
