The square & ldquo; Piazza Cavour & ldquo; right next to the ice rink shines in a festive glow. During the Advent season there is a Christmassy atmosphere with decorated fir trees, picturesque little wooden houses that serve as sales booths and glowing shop windows.

Piazza Cavour, Via Plinio, Piazza Grimoldi, Via Pretorio, Via Boldoni and Piazza Verdi , daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Closed on December 25th. January 1st from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
On the Christmas Mercatino you will find a wide variety of local specialties and traditional handicrafts from the different regions Italy, at very affordable prices. A good opportunity to find ideas for your Christmas gifts.

Magic Light Festival
From the end of November until   to Holy Three Kings (6 January), starting at 5:00 p.m., special buildings and the cathedral are illuminated with Christmas pictures in the city of Como, which transform the city into a fairy tale backdrop.

Nativity scene exhibition
In the church of San Giacomo in Como there is again a wonderful nativity scene exhibition this year, in the tradition of oriental arts and crafts, created by artists from Como and Varese. & Nbsp;
