The most beautiful beaches on Lake Como

In the upper part of the lake Dongo, Gravedona, Domaso, Gera Lario and Colico have flat beaches that are also very suitable for children.

Dongo near church

Dongo, La Sciatera

Dongo and Gravedona are connected by a 3 km long promenade/bike path, which follows the lakeshore directly and where there are many swimming and beach opportunities.

Gravedona
Nice, flat and child-friendly beaches (Serenella) with good parking facilities are to the right of the fishing port of Gravedona next to the large tennis court. From the beach near the river mound enjoy a wide view of the south of Lake Como.
A well-tended swimming pool (entrance fee required), also with a children's pool and beach bar, are at the tip of the Poncia promontory.

Domaso
Extensive, well-tended, 2 km long gravel/sand beach with partly large, shady trees. Lake promenade, which is only for pedestrians and cyclists accessible is where you can take nice walks along the shore.
At the northern entrance to the village, there is a large szlig; he parking lot on the left side of the street. Then follow the new lake promenade over the small bridge and at the shipyard to the beach.

Gera Lario

Sorico, La Punta

After Sorico over the large bridge with the metal bridges (over the Mera), then after the bridge immediately turn right towards camping site La Grande Quiete approx. 1km; then do not turn right to the campsite, but straight ahead 100m (Spiaggia LA PUNTA).

Dascio
A gently sloping beach is at the entrance to Dascio, with the Several beaches can be approached by boat, some with sand on Lake Mezzola.
Canoeing and rowing are also popular at this point on the lake: the unspoilt nature of the Pian di Spagna nature reserve and the river. Mera to Lago di Como are wonderful rowing trails

Novate Mezzola
A beautiful sports, play and leisure facility with a pool is located at the end of Lake Mezzola. Sandy beach with loungers and parasols for hire, especially suitable for youngsters and children.
Just before Novate (on the road between Sorico and Chiavenna) turn right. The street leads through an underpass (only suitable for cars) under the main street to the beach.

Colico
You will find three flat and spacious beaches in Colico, which are also suitable for children: The beach at the beach bar " Marzio "
