Mergozzo is the ideal starting point for wonderful excursions to the lakes (Lake Maggiore and the Borromean Islands, the Villa Taranto, to Arona, Stresa, Verbania or Lago d'Orta and the island of San Giulio or nearby Switzerland ...) and for many trekking athletes (Val Grande Mottarone, Monte Rosa, Formazza).
